Role Description The Assistant Relationship Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Srinagar Area. This role involves supporting relationship managers in handling customer inquiries, explaining loan products, and guiding customers through eligibility checks and documentation requirements.

The Assistant Relationship

Officer will assist in coordinating with banks and financial institutions, follow up on applications, and help ensure timely processing and disbursement of loans. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, updating customer information, resolving basic service issues, and ensuring a smooth, transparent experience for every client.



The role also includes contributing to sales efforts by identifying customer needs, suggesting appropriate loan products, and building strong, professional relationships with new and existing customers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Business Relationship Management to support client interactions, nurture long-term partnerships, and assist senior team members in managing key accounts.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to understand loan products, interest rates, and basic credit principles, enabling clear explanations to customers.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to convey information clearly, listen actively, and collaborate effectively with customers, colleagues, and banking partners.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries professionally, manage expectations, and provide a supportive, solution-oriented experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend suitable loan products, and contribute to achieving branch and company targets.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency in local languages and English, basic computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools), attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
