Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Shimla, responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. This role includes supervising front-of-house staff, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring smooth coordination between service and kitchen teams.

Manager helps oversee food and beverage quality, monitors cleanliness and safety, and responds to guest feedback to drive customer satisfaction. The role involves assisting with hiring and onboarding team members, training staff on procedures and service standards, and supporting inventory and cost control processes.

Manager reports to the Restaurant Manager and acts as a key point of contact on the floor during busy shifts.

Qualifications

- Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle guest feedback professionally and promptly.
- Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including basic knowledge of menu items, hygiene standards, and service workflows.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with team members, supporting conflict resolution, and providing clear instructions.
- Ability to assist with Hiring, onboarding, and training staff, including evaluating performance and supporting team development.
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality management is preferred, with a track record of managing shifts or supervising teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
