Role Overview

Camellia Institute of Technology & Management invites applications from motivated, enthusiastic, and academically accomplished individuals for the position of Assistant Professor in the following departments:

The selected candidates will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education through effective teaching, research, curriculum innovation, student mentoring, and institutional development. Faculty members are expected to actively participate in research, publish scholarly work, engage in academic collaborations, and contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and departmental initiatives. Qualifications & RequirementsEducational Qualifications

Applicants should possess qualifications as per AICTE/UGC and affiliating university norms.

Engineering Departments (CE, EE, CSE, ME)

- B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is highly desirable and will be preferred.
- Candidates pursuing doctoral research with a strong academic profile may also apply.

Basic Sciences

Applicants should possess

- Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or relevant discipline with consistently good academic records.
- Ph.D. in the relevant subject is preferred.

Humanities

Applicants should possess

- Master's degree in English, Communication Skills, or relevant Humanities discipline.
- Ph.D.



and research experience are desirable.

Teaching Experience
- Fresh Ph.D. graduates with excellent academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with prior teaching experience in AICTE-approved institutions will be preferred.
- Ability to effectively teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Experience with outcome-based education (OBE), NBA, or NAAC processes will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities The selected candidates will be expected to:

Teaching and Curriculum Development

- Continuously improve curriculum aligned with emerging technologies and industry needs.

Research and Scholarly Activities
- Conduct independent and collaborative research.

- Apply for externally funded research projects.
- Present research findings at national and international forums.

Student Mentorship
- Mentor students academically and professionally.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects.

Institutional Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental and institute committees.
- Contribute to NBA, NAAC, AICTE, and accreditation activities.
- Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, conferences, and outreach programs.
- Assist in admissions, examinations, academic administration, and institutional development initiatives.
- Foster industry-academia collaborations.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates possessing one or more of the following will receive preference:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
