Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support our merchandising team in managing customer orders from development through shipment. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, strong follow-up ability, and basic knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Merchandisers in handling buyer orders from order confirmation to shipment.
- Coordinate with sampling, production, planning, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, and accessories to ensure timely availability.
- Maintain and update the Time & Action (T&A;) calendar.
- Track sample development and ensure on-time submission to buyers.
- Prepare and maintain order-related documentation, including purchase orders, BOMs, and approval records.
- Update ERP/MIS systems and maintain accurate order status reports.
- Communicate buyer comments and approvals to relevant internal departments.
- Monitor production progress and highlight any delays or issues.
- Coordinate shipment schedules and support documentation for dispatch.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly merchandising reports.




- Ensure all merchandising records are organized and up to date.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in garment manufacturing or apparel merchandising .
- Basic understanding of garment production processes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Solid communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of garment fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Experience in sample coordination and production follow-up.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
