Responsibilities

- Handle techno-commercial aspects related to power plant operations and maintenance.

- Manage vendor contracts, purchase orders, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

- Evaluate technical specifications along with commercial feasibility for procurement and services.

- Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Maintenance, Finance, SCM) for smooth execution of activities.

- Monitor and control costs, budget utilization, and support cost optimization initiatives.

- Support tendering processes including preparation, evaluation, and finalization.

- Ensure timely billing, invoice verification, and payment follow-ups.

- Analyze commercial risks and provide mitigation strategies.

- Maintain documentation related to contracts, agreements, and commercial transactions.

- Ensure adherence to company policies,



regulatory requirements, and audit compliance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred). MBA (Operations/Finance) is an advantage.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in techno-commercial roles within the power generation sector (preferably thermal power plant).

- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, and commercial processes.

- Knowledge of power plant operations will be an added advantage.

- Positive analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
