Job Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software applications and solutions.

Drive backend-focused architecture decisions with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.

Review system architecture, technical designs, and code to ensure high quality, maintainability, and alignment with business requirements.

Own and enhance backend services using Node.js, ensuring optimized APIs and efficient data handling.

Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and integrate with API Gateways for secure and scalable service communication.

Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure optimization.

Collaborate with frontend teams (React) to ensure seamless end-to-end application functionality.

Implement and contribute to system design practices, including microservices architecture, distributed systems, and fault-tolerant designs.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and development best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack, especially backend systems.

Mentor and guide junior developers, driving technical excellence within the team.

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Skills

Solid expertise in Node.js with hands-on experience in backend application development.

Good working knowledge of React.js for frontend collaboration and integration.

Experience with API development, API Gateway, and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of System Design, including scalability, availability, and distributed systems.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Proficiency in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and designing efficient schemas.

Experience with version control systems (Git)



and CI/CD pipelines.

Solid understanding of security best practices, authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex backend issues.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is an added advantage.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

B. Tech/BE in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development with a strong backend focus.

Proven experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems using Node.js.

Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and API architecture.
