We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Purchaser with 4–6 years of experience in procurement and vendor management within the Manufacturing, Iron & Steel, Metals, Scaffolding, or Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing practices while supporting uninterrupted production operations. Location: Kosi Kalan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

- Source raw materials, consumables, spare parts, tools, and other production-related items.
- Float enquiries, obtain quotations, and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with vendors.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays and stock shortages.

Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Identify and onboard reliable vendors in line with company requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, delivery, pricing, and responsiveness.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure timely corrective actions.

Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, and Planning teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as required.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels to minimize excess stock and stock-outs.
- Support periodic inventory verification and reconciliation activities.

Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete procurement documentation, quotations, purchase orders, and vendor records.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.
- Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate procurement MIS and purchase reports.

Cost Optimization
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Conduct market research to monitor price trends and sourcing opportunities.
- Support annual rate contracts and long-term supplier agreements.
- Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Materials Management or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Iron & Steel, Metals, Scaffolding, Engineering, or Industrial Equipment industries is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing industrial materials and production-related items.
