The Assistant Manager – Production at Hical Technologies will be responsible for efficiently managing production operations in sheet metal fabrication, welding, riveting, and mechanical assembly. The role focuses on production planning, quality assurance, manpower efficiency, and process improvements to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery. The candidate should have 9 to 12 years of experience in production management, a strong understanding of mechanical processes and GD&T;, and the ability to lead, train, and optimize shop-floor teams while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize manpower, equipment, and tools for productive production.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Optimize manpower efficiency to maintain productivity above 90%.
- Ensure material accountability and minimize wastage.
- Implement and maintain 5S and quality system requirements in all manufacturing stages.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve quality issues on the production line.
- Support new product development and ensure smooth transition to serial production.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Train and guide the shop-floor team in mechanical processes.
