: Factory HR Manager
Job Title- Factory HR Manager/Assi. Manager
Department- Human Resources
Location- Himmatnagar
Reports To- HR Head
Job Summary The Factory HR Manager is responsible for managing all human resource functions at the manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with labour laws, supports workforce planning, maintains employee relations, oversees recruitment and onboarding, drives performance management, and fosters a safe, productive, and positive work setting.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory and staff positions.
- Coordinate manpower planning with production and department heads.
- Conduct onboarding and induction for new employees.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet production requirements.
Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees.
- Support conflict resolution and maintain industrial harmony.
Attendance, Payroll & HR Operations
- Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, and shift schedules.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the payroll team.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure timely issuance of appointment letters, ID cards, confirmations, transfers, and separation documents.
Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
- Support managers in setting KPIs and development plans.
- Identify training needs and implement learning initiatives.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and factory regulations.
- Manage statutory records, registers, and returns.
- Coordinate inspections and audits by government authorities.
- Ensure compliance related to PF, ESI, gratuity, contract labour, and other statutory requirements.
Industrial Relations
- Maintain healthy relationships with workers and union representatives (where applicable).
- Assist in wage negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Handle disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Health, Safety & Welfare
- Support implementation of workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Coordinate employee welfare activities.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and compliance reviews.
HR Policies & Administration
- Implement HR policies and procedures consistently.
- Monitor policy compliance across departments.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS for management.
- Drive HR process improvements and digital initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or MSW preferred.
Experience
- 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 5–7 years in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Experience handling industrial relations and statutory compliance is preferred.
