Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivables

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and result-driven Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivables to oversee receivables management, customer account reconciliation, and collection follow-ups. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely collections, accurate ledger management, and effective coordination with internal teams and customers.

This role requires robust analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring efficient receivables operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

Monitor and follow up on All Kerala receivables (excluding Bismi & Lulu accounts) to achieve collection targets.

Handle OOK receivables, including payment follow-ups, reconciliation, and account finalization.

Supervise the day-to-day workflow of the Accounts Receivable team and ensure operational efficiency.

Perform customer ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in coordination with customers and internal departments.

Finalize promotional claims, kitty settlements, and other receivable-related adjustments.

Verify and confirm price lists, item rates, discount structures, and sales schemes before implementation.

Conduct ageing analysis of receivables and develop action plans for overdue accounts.

Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial,



and Finance teams to resolve collection issues and customer queries.

Follow up on collections through Pro Cap, Udaan, and other payment platforms while maintaining effective communication with customers.

Prepare MIS reports on receivables, ageing analysis, collections, reconciliations, and outstanding balances for management review.

Ensure adherence to company credit policies and recommend improvements in receivables processes.

Lead, mentor, and support the Accounts Receivable team to achieve departmental objectives.

Education & Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

5–8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Finance Operations.

Experience in the Consumer Durables, FMCG, Retail, Distribution, or Manufacturing industry is preferred.

Prior experience in team handling and receivables management is highly desirable.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong analytical and commercial mindset with excellent financial acumen.

Proven experience in managing high-value customer accounts and receivables.

Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Finance teams.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
