This position is a mix of commercial contracting, land acquisition legal support, M&A; transactions, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management within the renewable energy sector. The role requires a lawyer who can independently handle contract drafting and negotiations while supporting project development activities.

- O&M; Agreements
- Procurement Contracts
- Lease Deeds
- Sale Deeds
- Easement Agreements
- Other project-related commercial contracts
1. Land Due Diligence
- Title verification
- Land acquisition due diligence
- Legal clearance of land parcels
- Preparation of lease deeds and conveyance documents
- Coordination with external legal counsel
1. M&A; and Corporate Transactions
- Legal due diligence
- Transaction structuring support
- Review of
- Share Purchase Agreements (SPA)
- Shareholders Agreements (SHA)
- Joint Venture Agreements (JV)
1. Regulatory & Compliance
Knowledge of:
- Electricity Act and power sector regulations
- Renewable energy policies

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 3 to 5 years PQE
- In-house legal team or law firm experience
- Robust contract management background
- Exposure to infrastructure, energy, power, EPC or manufacturing sectors
Educational Requirements
- LLB / BA LLB
