We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accounts Manager – Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage end-to-end receivables, customer collections, revenue accounting, sales reconciliations, and customer account management. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, accurate customer ledger maintenance, reconciliation of sales across multiple channels, credit note management, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and experience in e-commerce or retail finance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete Accounts Receivable (AR) function, including customer ledger reconciliation and outstanding receivables.

Monitor ageing reports and ensure timely follow-up with customers for collections.

Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams for payment recovery and dispute resolution.

Perform reconciliation of collections received through bank, payment gateways, and online marketplaces.





Ensure accurate sales, receipts, credit notes, and customer adjustments are recorded in the accounting system.

Reconcile sales from various online sales platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.) with accounting records.

Process and verify customer refunds, cancellations, and credit notes.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR MIS, collection reports, and ageing analysis.

Support monthly and quarterly GST compliance by providing accurate sales and receivable data.

Assist in statutory audits and internal audits related to revenue and receivables.

Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing, invoicing, and reconciliation issues.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

4–6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, revenue accounting, or e-commerce finance.

Solid knowledge of customer ledger management, collections, and receivable reconciliations.

Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Good understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

Excellent analytical, communication, and follow-up skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.

Preferred

Experience

Experience in e-commerce, D2C, retail, or omni-channel business.

Exposure to payment gateways, marketplace reconciliations, and customer refund processes.

Experience in preparing ageing reports, collection dashboards, and receivable MIS.
