1. Design, develop, and maintain applications on IBM AS/400 (iSeries) platform.
2. Work with RPG III, RPG IV (RPGLE), CL, and DB2/400 for application development.
3. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
4. Develop and enhance batch and online programs as per project needs.
5. Perform unit testing and support system integration testing activities.
6. Maintain and optimize existing legacy applications for performance improvements.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
8. Work with DB2 database including file design, queries, and stored procedures.
9. Create and maintain documentation for technical designs and processes.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts and QA teams.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
12. Handle data migration, system upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
13. Use tools like SEU, PDM, SDA, and RDi for development and maintenance.
14. Ensure system security, compliance, and data integrity standards.
15. Support deployment and release management activities.
16. Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.
17. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
18. Experience in APIs, web services, or integration is a plus.
19. Knowledge of Agile or SDLC methodologies preferred.
20. Robust problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills required.
