Role Overview :

We are looking for a high-caliber AI/ML Engineer to join our core computer vision team in Bangalore or Chennai. In this role, you will architect and deploy sophisticated deep learning models to solve complex visual recognition challenges that directly impact our products core functionality.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers, to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable, production-grade AI solutions.

By bridging the gap between experimental research and real-world application, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experience and driving significant business outcomes through intelligent automation and visual analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and train advanced neural networks using PyTorch to improve the accuracy and latency of our computer vision pipelines for end-users.
- Implement and optimize R-CNN architectures to ensure robust object detection and classification capabilities across diverse datasets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to migrate and maintain legacy models from Tensorflow to PyTorch, ensuring seamless integration into our production environment.




- Develop custom image processing workflows using OpenCV to pre-process data and enhance model performance for specific business use cases.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and model evaluation to ensure our AI solutions meet the high-quality standards expected by our global stakeholders.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to build and deploy deep learning models in production environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of PyTorch and Tensorflow frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in applying R-CNN and other state-of-the-art object detection architectures to solve real-world visual data problems.
- Strong proficiency in image manipulation and computer vision techniques using OpenCV, coupled with a solid foundation in machine learning theory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- A Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, with 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in the AIML domain.
- High adaptability to a hybrid work setting, showing the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across Bangalore and Chennai.
