Role Description The Area Service Manager – Electric Loaders is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for leading after-sales service operations for electric loaders within the assigned region, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and customer satisfaction. The individual will oversee installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, and troubleshooting of electric loaders.

The Area Service Manager will lead and support field service engineers and technicians, coordinate regional service schedules, monitor service quality, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The role requires solid expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems of electric loaders, including battery systems, controllers, motors, and charging infrastructure.

The individual will manage customer escalations, maintain accurate service documentation, track service performance metrics, and collaborate closely with sales, spare parts, and operations teams to improve service efficiency. The role also involves conducting customer training on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and safe handling practices while ensuring compliance with company and statutory safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics,



or a related technical field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in servicing electric loaders, electric construction equipment, or electric heavy machinery.

Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting electric loaders, including battery packs, electric drive motors, motor controllers, inverters, charging systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics.

Proven experience in leading field service teams, coordinating regional service operations, and managing customer service activities.

Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, fault diagnosis, and breakdown management.

Experience in using ERP/CRM systems and digital service tools for service planning, job tracking, and maintenance records.

Excellent customer relationship, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle technical escalations effectively.

Good understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements related to electric construction equipment and high-voltage systems.

Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region and provide on-site technical support whenever required.

Previous experience in a Service Manager or Field Service Supervisory role in the electric construction equipment or heavy machinery industry will be preferred.
