Role Description The Architect – B.Arch role at SMARTANK is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings, and producing detailed plans in line with project requirements and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to understand functional needs, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and participating in site visits to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.

The role involves managing timelines, integrating design changes,



and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The architect will also contribute to improving design processes and ensuring that all projects meet quality, safety, and sustainability benchmarks.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including conceptual planning, space optimization, and design detailing.

- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as scheduling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and tracking project deliverables.

- Candidates should possess understanding of Integration in the context of aligning architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other technical requirements.

- Candidates should possess basic familiarity with Software Development concepts where relevant to architectural tools or integrations, such as BIM platforms or design software workflows.

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from an accredited institution.

- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).

- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.

- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
