- We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with solid exposure to Unix Linux environments and Python to support business critical applications
- The role involves troubleshooting production issues monitoring system performance supporting batch processes and ensuring application stability and availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 production support for enterprise applications in Unix Linux environments
- Monitor application health logs and system performance to ensure uptime and SLA adherence
- Troubleshoot and resolve application batch job and system related issues
- Perform log analysis debugging and root cause analysis for recurring incidents
- Support Python based applications scripts including debugging and minor enhancements
- Monitor and manage batch jobs scheduling and job failures AutoSys cron or similar
- Coordinate with L1 L3 teams developers and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
- Handle incidents service requests and problem management in line with ITIL processes
- Support deployments releases and environment validation activities
- Maintain documentation SOPs and knowledge base articles
