Must have skills : SUSE Linux Administration Good to have skills : Microsoft Azure IaaS Minimum 2 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: We are looking for a Linux System Administrator with approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux-based environments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, shell scripting, system monitoring, and basic networking concepts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform routine system administration tasks including user management, file system management, and permissions handling.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, disk usage, and network connectivity.
- Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Manage services such as Apache/Nginx, SSH, DNS, FTP, and cron jobs.
- Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine tasks.




- Configure and manage system logs using tools like journalctl, rsyslog, or logrotate.
- Support deployment and version-control workflows (Git preferred).
- Assist in backup and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and system upgrades.
- Ensure system security through proper hardening and vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure the server is properly registered with SUMA and can successfully refresh its repositories.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Solid understanding of system performance monitoring and optimization.
- Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems.

Additional Information

- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
