We're looking for an experienced and creative engineer to drive vision and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) projects across diverse manufacturing applications.
What You'll Do:
- Understand customer needs and translate them into effective AOI solutions
- Develop and implement vision systems including camera setup, lighting, and custom algorithms
- Integrate vision systems with automation platforms ensuring seamless data flow
- Optimize defect detection algorithms and inspection logic
- Troubleshoot and resolve vision system issues in real-time
- Analyze results and continuously improve inspection accuracy, speed, and reliability
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain system standards
- Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams for successful project execution
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's in Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in vision system development (preferably AOI)
- Solid understanding of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning
- Skilled in debugging and resolving system-level issues efficiently
- Familiarity with vision tools and platforms is a plus
