Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Android Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic mobile development team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative mobile applications for the Android platform. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including back-end engineers and UX/UI designers to deliver seamless, high-performing, and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build advanced mobile applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with the UX/UI design team and back-end developers to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
- Develop reusable libraries, application frameworks, and shared components to streamline future development.
- Debug and resolve complex application issues using appropriate tools such as Android Debugger and log analysis.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and design evaluations.
- Stay up to date with the latest mobile technologies and industry trends; evaluate and recommend new tools or frameworks.
- Provide strategic input to the mobile roadmap and influence product direction.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Scope of Responsibilities





- Deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable code for Android applications.
- Collaborate with team members to publish Android apps to the Google Play Store.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Implement effective communication mechanisms between mobile apps and back-end systems using RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience in Android development with a strong command of Java and Android SDK.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) principles.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with server-side systems via REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
- Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
- Robust debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
- Knowledge of mobile security and data protection best practices.
- Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or other architectural patterns.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools for mobile development.
