Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Android Kernel Developer role based in Bengaluru South.

The Android Kernel

Developer will work on low-level Android system components, focusing on kernel customization, device drivers, performance optimization, and stability improvements for mobile platforms.

Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing and implementing kernel features, debugging and resolving system-level issues, and collaborating with hardware, firmware,



and application teams to ensure seamless integration. The role also involves code reviews, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of development and testing processes. The developer will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams and follow established software development best practices.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Android development and Android design for system-level and kernel-related work
- Proficiency in software development practices, including coding, debugging, and code review
- Solid understanding of operating systems, kernels, device drivers, and performance optimization
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Android, embedded, or kernel development
- Hands-on experience with C/C++, Linux/Android internals, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline
