We are looking for a passionate Android TV Developer to join our product engineering team. If you have hands-on experience building Android TV applications, working with video streaming technologies, and creating seamless user experiences for Smart TVs, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Android TV applications.

Build high-quality TV user interfaces using Leanback components and Android TV best practices.

Implement video streaming solutions using ExoPlayer/Media3 HLS, DASH, and DRM (Widevine preferred).

Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.

Optimise application performance, startup time, and memory usage.

Handle remote control navigation, focus management, and Android TV interactions.

Troubleshoot playback, performance, and device compatibility issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Backend, and QA.

Requirements 2-5 years of experience in Android development with hands-on Android TV application development.

Robust proficiency in Kotlin and Java.





Experience with ExoPlayer/Media3 HLS, DASH, and DRM integration.

Good understanding of Leanback Library, Android TV UI, and remote navigation.

Knowledge of MVVM, Jetpack Components, Coroutines, and Flow.

Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit.

Strong understanding of Android lifecycle, multithreading, and performance optimisation.

Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good To Have

Experience building OTT or video streaming applications.

Knowledge of Chromecast, Firebase, Analytics, and Crashlytics.

Experience with Widevine DRM.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
