The Role: We are seeking a “Analytics Engineer” with the right blend of cloud, data, analytics and technical skills, in order to run and manage the mechanics and core operational activities behind a powerful Analytics team.

Alongside this, they will have the opportunity to put their technical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills to regular use by continuously seeking ways to improve systems, alongside various other tasks, projects, and activities.

Primary Key Responsibilities The role is suitable for someone who flourishes in a self-driven workplace, is able to complete and manage various tasks, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and complete their work to a high standard. They will be responsible in ensuring all day to day work is completed to a good-standard and resolve any issues they face.

They will also use their technical skills to improve processes, build new requirements to prescribed standards, amongst other responsibilities. A curious self-starter will flourish in this environment as they are free to identify and deliver any work of value with respect to their team.

Outside of operational tasks, they will get to take part in projects, new enhancements and other cloud-based development work that would be beneficial to the team and wider department.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Snowflake experience

Strong Python skills

Confident in SQL, such as creating stored procedures from scratch





Experience developing code to a prescribed standard for peer review

Debugging production errors, root cause analysis, and incident management

Understanding of data models

Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organisational ability

Communication with stakeholders, engineers and end-users

Self-starter, can operate independently without awaiting instructions

Thrives working in a collaborative and team environment
