Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst to support appeals handling, claims review, client contract interpretation, and process improvement activities within a US healthcare environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work within defined timelines, maintain accuracy, communicate effectively, and demonstrate accountability in day-to-day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Review claim-related information with strong attention to detail and escalate issues or trends when required.
· Work on and respond to appeal denials sent by clients or networks within stipulated timelines.
· Familiarize yourself with client contracts to support accurate pricing of medical claims according to agreed terms.
· Demonstrate responsibility, ownership, and accountability for assigned tasks.
· Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable HIPAA guidelines while handling healthcare-related information.
· Use a proactive and cutting-edge approach to contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in any field.
· Knowledge of US healthcare process (preferred).
· Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in US healthcare may apply.
Required Skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
· Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
· Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tasks, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience
· Experience in configuration, claims processing, documentation creation, and data review.
· Background working in PBM adjudication systems.
· Exposure to appeals, claim analysis, or healthcare operations processes.
