Company Description SiyaCon Technologies, based in Bangalore, is a semiconductor service company with a strong focus on Analog Layout Engineering. The organization also delivers expert solutions through teams specializing in Physical Design, Circuit Design, DFT, and Design Verification (DV). By partnering with global semiconductor leaders, SiyaCon provides high-quality, end-to-end services that support complex chip development.
The company is dedicated to driving innovation, ensuring robust performance, and helping clients accelerate time-to-market for advanced semiconductor products.
Role Description The Analog Layout Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with design, verification, and physical implementation teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating transistor-level and block-level analog and mixed-signal layouts, performing floorplanning, placement, routing, and matching for critical analog components. The role involves interpreting circuit schematics, optimizing layouts for performance, area, and reliability, and ensuring compliance with foundry design rules through DRC, LVS, and other layout checks.
The engineer will participate in design reviews, document layout decisions, support tape-out activities, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project schedules and quality goals.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in analog and mixed-signal layout, including floorplanning, device matching, and parasitic-aware layout for blocks such as amplifiers, ADC/DAC, PLLs, and power management circuits.
Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for layout and verification (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor/Siemens Calibre, Synopsys tools) and familiarity with DRC, LVS, ERC, and reliability checks.
Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics, CMOS process technologies, design rules, and layout impacts on noise, signal integrity, and performance.
Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics, collaborate with circuit designers, and iterate layouts based on performance, area, and yield feedback.
Good knowledge of version control and project management practices for layout databases, including documentation of design assumptions and change tracking.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in a semiconductor design or services environment and exposure to advanced technology nodes is an advantage.
