Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations and patient assessments to determine suitability for anesthesia.

- Administer and manage general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and local anesthesia based on procedure type and patient condition.

- Perform intubation and manage airway control using advanced techniques and equipment.

- Monitor and maintain patient vital signs throughout procedures, including respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological parameters.

- Provide effective pain management strategies during and after surgical interventions.

- Manage ventilatory support and ensure optimal oxygenation and ventilation during anesthesia.

- Respond promptly and appropriately to intraoperative emergencies, including cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, and airway compromise.

- Collaborate with ICU teams for post-anesthesia care and critical care support.

- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia records, patient responses, and medication administration.

- Participate in ongoing training,



quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits to uphold best practices.

Requirements:

- MBBS or equivalent medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesia (MD/DA or equivalent).

- Valid registration with the National Medical Council (NMC) or relevant regulatory body.

- Demonstrated proficiency in ventilation, intubation, and airway management techniques.

- Hands-on experience in administering general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and local anesthesia.

- Strong understanding of pain management protocols and pharmacology related to anesthetic agents.

- Familiarity with ICU operations and critical care principles.

- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

- Excellent communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to work versatile shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.

- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation systems.
