As an Aid Coordinator, you will work as part of a hospital team to provide nutritional support to children with cancer.
The Aid Coordinator will be a crucial link between the pediatric oncology nutritionists and the beneficiaries, ensuring a seamless, empathetic, and efficient healthcare delivery model.
Responsibilities
Aid Management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of aid at the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain the safety, hygiene, and security of all items stored in the warehouse.
- Monitor the quality and expiry of stored items regularly to prevent spoilage or wastage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory received and dispatched using physical registers.
Vendor Management
- Identify and onboard new vendors, ensuring all required documentation is submitted as per procurement protocols.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Collect vendor invoices and facilitate timely submission to the Head Office for processing.
Ration Distribution
- Distribute ration kits from the warehouse to beneficiaries in accordance with the nutritionist's specifications.
- Ensure all items in the ration basket match the purchase order (PO) and meet required quality standards.
Logistics and Coordination
- Collaborate closely with nutritionists to ensure timely delivery of nutritional supplements, in-meals, and other items to the hospital as needed.
- Serve as the primary liaison for logistics support between the warehouse, vendors, and hospital teams.
Must Haves
- Graduate
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to use mobile apps and google docs.
- Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of children with cancer and their families.
- Should know the local language along with Hindi / English
- Personal qualities of integrity and credibility
