About the role
SurgeGrowth builds AI-powered video production pipelines. You'll use our own platform to generate videos, then finish them in an edit suite. Less time on grunt work, more output per day than a normal editing job.
What you'll do
- Write or refine short-form scripts when a brief comes in without one
- Generate AI video, images, and voice on the SurgeGrowth platform
- Edit and finish in Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut / DaVinci
- Cut ad creatives and Reels for app and brand campaigns
- Add motion graphics, sound design, captions, and VFX polish
- Optimize for hook, retention, and conversion — not just aesthetics
- Own delivery end to end, at speed
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years editing short-form or performance ad content
- Solid grasp of at least one NLE (Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut) plus After Effects
- A reel of vertical/short-form work — ads, Reels, YouTube Shorts
- Comfort with AI tools; curiosity beats prior experience here
- Basic scriptwriting instinct — you can write a hook that works
- Fast turnaround without dropping quality
Bonus
- Prompt-writing experience with video/image gen models
- Sound design or music editing
- Ran your own social channel or freelanced on ad creatives
