JOB DESCRIPTION

JD/Skillset: AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI solutions, including Generative AI models, traditional algorithms, and advanced machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, cloud technologies, and modern AI frameworks, with a focus on building scalable and production-ready AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement Generative AI models, LLMs, and traditional AI algorithms.
- Design and build agentic AI solutions for autonomous workflows and intelligent decision-making.
- Utilise statistical models and data science techniques for analysis and insights.
- Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI for AI applications.
- Work with Azure components including Redis Cache, ADLS, Kubernetes, and Azure Functions.
- Manage and optimise vector databases, relational databases, and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- Use Jupyter Notebook for experimentation and prototyping.




- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.

Must-Have Skills

- 5 years of experience in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebook and AI development workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and traditional AI algorithms.
- Proven ability to design and develop agentic AI solutions.
- Experience with FastAPI for API development.
- Familiarity with Azure services (Redis Cache, ADLS, Kubernetes, Azure Functions).
- Expertise in vector databases, relational databases, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

Additional Skills for AI Developer

- Machine Learning Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers.
- Data Preprocessing & Feature Engineering: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
- Prompt Engineering & Fine-Tuning: Experience with LLM optimisation.
- Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and embedding techniques.
- Understanding of MLOps practices for productionizing AI models.
- Basic knowledge of NLP, Computer Vision, and multimodal AI.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with GraphQL for API development.
- Knowledge of other Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).




- Understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices.
- Exposure to data engineering and ETL pipelines.

- Strong Communication: Ability to convey complex AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
