We are seeking a hands-on, highly skilled AI Engineer to architect, build, and deploy open source-based Agentic AI systems. This role is central to the development of a distributed AI agent architecture that powers our intelligent edge and centralised platforms.



You will work on developing both lightweight and larger-scale AI agents to execute autonomous workflows and coordinate distributed sensing and decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in designing agent-based systems using open source large language models (LLMs), building on embedded platforms, and coordinating between distributed components through efficient orchestration layers.

Qualifications And Skills Required

- Proven experience in developing Agentic AI systems using open-source LLMs (e.g., 7B class models and smaller)

- Solid knowledge of machine learning, NLP, and LLM fine-tuning/integration

- Experience in software architecture, including distributed system design and orchestration

- Hands-on development skills in Python, Rust or Go, and familiarity with up-to-date AI stacks

- Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate in collaborative product teams

- Demonstrated ability to build and coordinate systems with both edge and central agents

Location: Kolkata, India (preferred) / Remote within India

Experience: 4-7 years in Software Systems
