About A4I Lab AI Innovation and Inclusion Initiative (A4I) is a partnership between Microsoft and IIIT-B, working with non-profit partners to apply AI to real-world challenges in education, healthcare, accessibility, and agriculture.

Role Overview We are looking for an Analytics and Dashboard Engineer to lead reporting and data visualisation across A4I’s AI platforms. You will build scalable pipelines, reporting models, and dashboards that support both internal teams and programme stakeholders while strengthening data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

What You Will Do

- Deploy and maintain BI platforms such as Apache Superset.
- Build ETL and ELT pipelines in Python across multiple data sources.
- Design reporting-ready data models and analytical dashboards.
- Define and track metrics for platform usage, AI performance, and programme outcomes.
- Create dashboards for monitoring, adoption tracking, and stakeholder reporting.




- Write maintainable SQL and Python code with transparent documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, or data engineering.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with analytical data modelling.
- Hands-on experience building production ETL or ELT pipelines in Python.
- Experience with BI tools such as Superset, Metabase, or Redash.
- Understanding of access control and reporting permissions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Apache Superset and dashboard embedding.
- Familiarity with Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or dbt.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Prior exposure to social impact or mission-driven organisations.
