Position Overview

We are looking for a energetic and experienced Sr. Manager / Manager – Accounts to lead the Factory Accounts function at our Chandannagar manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in manufacturing accounting, factory finance, costing, inventory controls, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting. The role requires hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA.

Candidates currently working in a similar role within manufacturing organizations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Accounts & Financial Control

- Manage end-to-end factory accounting operations for the manufacturing unit.
- Ensure accurate accounting of production, inventory, material consumption, WIP, finished goods, and cost allocations.
- Monitor and control factory overheads, manufacturing expenses, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare and review monthly factory P&L;, MIS, variance analysis, and financial reports.

Costing & Inventory Management

- Handle product costing, standard costing, BOM analysis,



variance analysis, and cost sheet preparation.
- Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of raw materials, consumables, stores, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
- Coordinate with stores, production, and procurement teams for inventory accuracy and stock controls.
- Support physical stock verification, audits, and inventory reconciliation.

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, GST, TDS, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support factory audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal financial controls.

SAP & Process Management

- Work extensively on SAP S/4 HANA for accounting, costing, inventory, and reporting functions.
- Drive process improvements and automation in factory finance and accounting systems.
- Ensure accurate ERP entries and reconciliation across finance and plant operations.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Collaborate with production, stores, SCM, purchase, and plant leadership to ensure financial discipline and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights for decision-making related to manufacturing costs and profitability.
