Role Description The Advocate will work full time on-site at the firm’s Ahmedabad office, handling litigation and advisory matters. Daily responsibilities include drafting petitions, applications, agreements, and other legal documents; conducting legal research; and preparing case notes and opinions.

The role involves appearing before courts and tribunals, attending client meetings, and assisting in strategy development for ongoing matters. The Advocate will coordinate with senior counsel and colleagues, manage case files,



and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met. The position requires strong professional ethics, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills (petitions, contracts, pleadings, notices).
- Proficiency in legal research, case law analysis, and preparation of legal opinions.
- Experience in court appearances, client representation, and case argument preparation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, maintain accurate files, and meet procedural deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council.
- Familiarity with civil and/or criminal procedure, evidence law, and contract law; local language proficiency for court practice in Ahmedabad.
- Commitment to professional integrity, confidentiality, and continuous learning in the legal field.
