Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, explaining programs, and supporting candidates from initial contact to enrollment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions (in-person, via phone, and online), organizing campus visits, and participating in information sessions, events, and outreach activities.

Counselor collaborates with academic and marketing teams to ensure accurate program representation, maintain applicant records, and meet admissions targets while providing a positive, inclusive experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for counseling, presentations, and stakeholder interactions.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries professionally and provide a supportive applicant experience.

Candidates should possess Sales skills to effectively explain program value, manage leads, and support enrollment objectives.

Candidates should possess an understanding of Education environments, preferably with experience in admissions, counseling, or academic institutions.

Additional beneficial qualifications include excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, comfort with CRM tools and MS Office, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in business, education, or related fields is an advantage.
