Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a remote, contract role responsible for supporting prospective students via online chat and other digital communication channels. This role involves responding to student inquiries, explaining program options and admissions requirements, and guiding students through application steps and timelines.

Counselor will maintain accurate records of interactions, follow up with prospective students, and collaborate with Education Specialists to ensure consistent information and a positive experience. Daily tasks include answering questions promptly, identifying student needs and goals, and providing clear,



professional guidance aligned with institutional policies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with diverse students in a clear, respectful manner.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to deliver responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused support.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related abilities to present programs effectively, address concerns, and encourage appropriate enrollment decisions.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience to understand academic pathways, admissions processes, and student advising needs.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, technology-driven environment, including proficiency with chat platforms and basic office software.
- Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student conversations concurrently.
- Prior experience in admissions counseling, academic advising, customer support, or a related field is beneficial.
