Administration & Trust Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a mature, responsible and spiritually inclined qualified to manage the day-to-day administration and operations of a spiritual/ religi ous institution.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with a religious/spiritual organisation, charitable trust, temple, ashram or similar institution, preferably with exposure to organisations of an established nature. Government working experience will be highly preferred, particularly experience involving coordination with government departments and officials.
The candidate should be able to balance discipline, diplomacy, courage, integrity, people management and practical problem-solving, while respecting the spiritual ethos and culture of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day administration and smooth functioning of the institution.
- Handle cash-related responsibilities, collections, receipts, records, documentation and reconciliation with complete integrity and accountability.
- Manage room allotment, guest/visitor accommodation, check-in/check-out and stay-related arrangements.
- Coordinate with staff, departments, vendors, visitors, devotees and guests.
- Maintain proper order, discipline, cleanliness and systematic functioning of the office and premises.
- Handle appointments, scheduling, meetings and related administrative work efficiently.
- Coordinate and communicate with government officials, government departments and external authorities with confidence and diplomacy.
- Be comfortable moving around the premises and taking care of operational matters on the ground, rather than remaining confined to an office.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, spiritual programmes, satsangs and institutional activities.
- Maintain proper records, registers, files, correspondence and administrative documentation.
- Ensure that all institutional rules, policies and procedures are followed consistently.
- Supervise and coordinate staff, allocate duties and ensure accountability.
- Identify operational issues proactively and provide creative, practical and solution-oriented approaches.
- Be able to understand current information quickly, assimilate available knowledge and apply it appropriately.
- Represent the institution with maturity, dignity, courtesy and confidence.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should:
- Have government working experience; experience dealing with government officials will be an advantage.
- Have prior experience in a religious, spiritual, charitable or trust-based organisation.
- Be spiritual and culturally aligned with the ethos and values of the institution.
- Be comfortable working in a disciplined and structured environment.
- Be creative, practical and solution-oriented, rather than merely process-oriented.
- Possess a combination of diplomacy, courage and sound knowledge.
- Have high levels of integrity, honesty and accountability.
- Have good judgement and the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully.
- Be bilingual and proficient in both required languages, with good communication skills.
- Be AI and social-media savvy, with the ability to use modern digital tools to improve administrative efficiency and communication.
- Have good general awareness and the ability to continuously learn and assimilate new knowledge.
- Have a good countenance, pleasant personality and dignified presence, appropriate for interacting with devotees, guests, senior management and government officials.
- Have a strong sense of order, organisation and discipline.
- Be willing to work beyond a desk role and actively move around the premises to understand and resolve operational matters.
- Be willing to commit to a three-year bond.
- Respect confidentiality and institutional policies.
- Be flexible, dependable and willing to take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
