Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Accounts Payable Executive with prior experience in the logistics industry

. The candidate will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions while complying with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and verify vendor invoices, transport bills, freight invoices, and supporting documents.

- Ensure timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.

- Coordinate with operations, transport, warehouse, and procurement teams for invoice approvals.

- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.

- Prepare payment schedules and assist in cash flow planning.

- Process employee reimbursement claims as per company policy.

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements related to vendor payments.

- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reporting.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Generate MIS reports related to accounts payable and outstanding liabilities.





- Follow internal financial controls and company policies.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.

- Experience in handling freight, transporter, and logistics vendor invoices.

- Positive understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).

- Experience working on ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar.

- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

- Good communication and coordination abilities.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

- MBA (Finance) or M.Com will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of Accounts Payable experience.

- Experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehousing industry is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Hands-on experience in processing high volumes of logistics-related invoices.

- Familiarity with freight billing, transporter payments, and vendor reconciliations.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
