Role Description The Accounts Manager (Hotels & Resorts) is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations for the resort. This includes managing daily accounting entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance specific to hospitality operations. The role involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring cost controls across rooms, F&B;, banquets, and events.

The Accounts

Manager will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws,



and statutory requirements, and coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders. The position also includes implementing and improving accounting systems, supporting management with financial analysis, and providing accurate, timely reports to guide business decisions.

Qualifications

Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control in a hotel or resort environment.

Proficiency in accounting software and property management systems (PMS), along with solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to hospitality businesses.

Experience in managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and coordination with auditors and financial institutions.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with operations, sales, and management teams, and to present financial insights clearly.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) are an advantage.

Prior experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar senior
