Role Description The Accounts & Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The manager prepares financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, and monitors expenses and revenues to ensure financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include managing audits, coordinating with external consultants, optimizing financial processes,



and supporting leadership with financial analysis and reporting. The role also involves implementing internal controls, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to financial planning for academic programs and institutional growth.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and finance skills, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to educational institutions and small enterprises.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
- Experience in audit coordination, internal controls, and process improvement in finance and accounts functions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with academic, administrative, and leadership teams.
- Interest in education and entrepreneurship, and alignment with the institute’s mission of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
