Job Title: Accounts & Tax Executive (CA Firm)

About the Firm

We are a Chartered Accountants firm engaged in providing Accounting, Audit, Taxation, GST, ROC, and Business Advisory services to Corporate and Non-Corporate clients across various industries. We are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented professional to join our team.

Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for independently handling accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax compliances, audit assignments, and finalization of financial statements for multiple clients. The role requires strong analytical skills, practical knowledge of taxation laws, and proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime for multiple clients.
- Pass accounting entries and perform ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Reconcile customer, vendor, and statutory ledgers.
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports.

GST Compliance

- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and other applicable GST returns.
- GST reconciliation with books of accounts and GST portal.
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance.
- Preparation of replies to GST notices and departmental communications.
- Working knowledge of E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill provisions.

Income Tax & TDS

- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Firms, LLPs, Companies, Trusts, and other entities.
- Preparation of tax computations for Corporate and Non-Corporate assessees.
- Handling TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, return filing, and reconciliation.
- Preparation of replies to Income Tax notices and assessment proceedings.
- Working knowledge of Advance Tax, Self-Assessment Tax, and TDS/TCS provisions.

Audit & Assurance

- Conduct Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, Stock Audit, and Bank Audit assignments.




- Preparation of audit working papers and audit documentation.
- Verification of books of accounts and supporting documents.
- Finalization of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes to Accounts.
- Preparation of Audit Reports and schedules.

Statutory & Other Compliance

- Preparation and filing of ROC forms and annual compliances.
- Assistance in company incorporation, LLP compliances, and other regulatory filings.
- Coordination with clients, government departments, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory and regulatory compliances.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping.
- Good understanding of GST laws and return filing.
- Sound knowledge of TDS and Income Tax (Corporate & Non-Corporate).
- Experience in Balance Sheet Finalization and preparation of Financial Statements.
- Hands-on experience in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, and Bank Audit.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIFS, Filters, Data Validation, Lookup Functions, MIS preparation).
- Familiarity with Income Tax and GST portals.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently handle multiple client assignments and meet statutory deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA / CMA Inter.
- Articleship or experience in a Chartered Accountants firm will be preferred.

Experience

- 46 years of relevant experience in a Chartered Accountants firm.
