Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, supervising journal entries, managing accounts payable and receivable, and monitoring fixed asset records.

The Accounting

Manager will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide analytical insights to management for decision-making. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, coordinating with external auditors,



implementing internal controls, and guiding junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

Ability to prepare, review, and analyze Financial Statements and related reports.

Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and supporting management decisions.

Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and day-to-day ledger management.

Solid understanding of Finance principles, budgeting, and cash flow management.

Experience in managing and tracking Fixed Assets, including capitalization and depreciation.

Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA) is an advantage.

Hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Excel, including reconciliations and reporting tools.

Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a retail or showroom environment.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
