As a key member of Uniqus's Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC) team, you will provide high-quality accounting advisory services to diverse clients. This role focuses on applying complex accounting standards, assisting with financial reporting (IFRS and GAAP), and addressing intricate accounting issues. You will support Manager and Associate Director levels in project execution and client relationship management to deliver transformative financial solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting Assistance: Assist with financial reporting activities, including the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Business & Finance Transformation: Participate in and manage diverse business and finance transformation engagements, with an emphasis on process improvement.
- CFO Agenda Support: Contribute to CFO agenda-related topics, providing insights and support on strategic financial initiatives.
- Client Relationship Management: Support Managers and Associate Directors in managing client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Technical Accounting Advisory: Provide expert technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues, conduct thorough research on accounting topics, and prepare comprehensive technical memos.
- Client Understanding & Expectation Management: Ensure that the engagement team thoroughly understands each client's unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.
- Cross-Service Line Collaboration:



Build strong relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to facilitate the provision of seamless and integrated services to clients.
- Performance Management & Service Improvement: Contribute to managing team performance and actively identify opportunities to improve Uniqus's services and internal processes.

Requirements:

- Recent experience in the planning, execution, and reporting of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Alternatively, recent experience in providing financial reporting advisory services with an emphasis on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, finance transformation/optimization, internal control system, and process improvement and optimization for multinational and local clients.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards; and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
- Possess strong domain knowledge in accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex client challenges.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills for effective client and internal interactions.
- Ability to work well collaboratively in teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage stringent deadlines, and adapt to tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.
- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

- Qualified CAs.
- CA with experience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
