Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Thane. The Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and performing reconciliations for client accounts and internal records.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, and supporting audits through accurate documentation and analysis. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements,



as well as liaising with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries. The Accountant will also contribute to process improvements and support the implementation of current accounting systems or tools as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in reconciliation activities, variance analysis, and basic financial analysis to ensure accuracy of client and internal accounts.
- Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems, along with good Excel skills for data handling and reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and principles (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) and familiarity with internal controls and audit processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in financial services, fund accounting, or outsourcing environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
