Role Description The Accountant role at Malwa Ispat Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries in the general ledger, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank and vendor statements.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring payments, assisting with budgeting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits. The Accountant will collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments to provide timely,



accurate financial information that supports decision-making.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation of financial statements.

Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial reporting tools.

Candidates should possess solid knowledge of basic taxation, statutory compliance, and relevant accounting standards applicable in India.
