Role Description

Location: Pune

Commitment: Full Time/ Part Time

Salary: Up to 2.4LPA

Experience: 1-3 Years The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger postings.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, maintaining accurate records of project expenses, and assisting with budgeting and cost tracking for construction projects. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations,



and coordinating with project managers and vendors to resolve billing or payment queries.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, billing, and vendor payments with accuracy.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets (Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel).
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and basic statutory reporting relevant to construction or similar industries.
- Experience in cost tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis for projects is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail, numeric aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams, vendors, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant skilled certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based businesses is preferred.
