We are looking for an experienced Accountant, GL to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1-8 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of the Indian job market context. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with budget preparation and analysis
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-8 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Robust understanding of Indian accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
