:

An accountant manages, analyzes, and reports an organization's financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial health.

Key responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements), reconciling bank accounts, handling tax filings, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Bookkeeping & Transactions: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable.

- Reconciliation & Audits: Reconcile bank statements and internal ledgers, and assist with internal/external audits.

- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, income tax, etc.) in accordance with regulations.

- Budgeting & Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-reduction opportunities,



and forecast future financial needs.

- System Maintenance: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) to manage financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Experience: Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

- Knowledge: Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or IFRS.

- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and integrity.

- Certification: CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
