Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations. The role involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting,



and internal audits, as well as coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies. The Accountant will also support process improvements, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain adherence to company policies and internal controls.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end closing activities.

Knowledge of Indian taxation and statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and other relevant regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications (CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with numerical data accurately under deadlines.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
