Position: Accountant

Job Summary The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing statutory compliances, managing vendor and customer accounts, and supporting the finance department in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally/ERP.
- Prepare and maintain purchase, sales, cash, bank, and journal vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Prepare GST invoices, E-way Bills, and ensure timely GST return data preparation.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Assist in TDS calculation, deduction, and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense reports, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain project-wise accounting records and cost tracking.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and government departments during audits and compliance activities.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and statutory records.




- Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory regulations.
- Perform any other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com or CA Inter (Preferred).

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Experience in the Construction/Infrastructure industry will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Positive communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy.
