About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team at VikingCloud India. This role is pivotal in managing and streamlining the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining positive relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting or financial administration, with excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.

Working closely with the AR team, sales, and customers, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial health and operational efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their careers in finance within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or financial processing roles.

Proficiency in MS Office Professional, with advanced Excel skills.

Experience working with SAP ERP systems is strongly preferred.





Familiarity with Sage Intacct accounting software is advantageous.

Prior experience with Salesforce CRM is desirable.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related fields; MBA in Finance is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and stress management skills.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining good attendance and work ethics.

Responsibilities Run daily bank statements and lockbox reports to monitor incoming payments.

Post cash receipts daily to customer accounts accurately.

Process one-time and recurring customer credit card payments efficiently.

Handle ACH direct debit payments, ensuring timely processing.

Monitor the aging of accounts receivable across multiple entities and identify overdue accounts promptly.

Contact customers with overdue accounts to facilitate collections, negotiating payment plans when necessary, and escalating issues to management as needed.

Utilize credit bureau data, postal information, internet searches, and other tools to locate customers who have moved or changed contact details.

Maintain detailed records of contact attempts,



communications, and payments received from delinquent customers.

Update customer account information based on payments, contacts, and resolution of issues.

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to invoices, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts, collection progress, and any escalations.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounts receivable processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
